About
She holds a BA in Rhetoric from the University of California, Berkeley, a Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, and an LL.M. from the University of Fribourg in Switzerland. She began her career at the William Morris Agency in Los Angeles before going on to develop ventures including Planning Pretty Picnics and The Spoken World, a platform dedicated to spoken word and diasporic storytelling.
Elle is currently Women, Work and Enterprise Correspondent for The European, where she writes on workplace culture, female entrepreneurship, and leadership.
She is also the Creative Director of NO! Why Women Start With ‘No’… and How Men Should Actually Respond, which examines the social conditioning and real-world consequences surrounding women’s refusal. Her work extends this lens into professional spaces, where the ability to say “no” often carries both social and economic consequences.
Her writing focuses on the gap between how opportunity is presented and how it is experienced, including the expectations placed on women, the consequences of boundary-setting, and the unwritten rules that shape advancement and influence.
