Linda Parker will be speaking at Cumbria’s Museum of Military Life later this year. Located within the walls of Carlisle Castle, the museum tells the story of the county’s Regimental history from 1702, through two World Wars, to the present day. The Museum’s principal collection includes items associated with the 34th and 55th Regiments of Foot, The Border Regiment, King’s Own Royal Border Regiment, and The Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment (Kings, Lancashire and Border). Further information about this event, which takes place in October 2025, will follow. Separately, Linda will be speaking to the Royal Artillery Historical Society on “Air attack on London in two world Wars” next January – details to follow.
