Julian Doyle – Rights Catalogue
Julian Doyle is a British filmmaker best known for his long association with Monty Python, contributing effects photography to Monty Python and the Holy Grail, editing Life of Brian and The Meaning of Life, and directing second-unit on several Python-connected films including The Rutles: All You Need Is Cash, Erik the Viking, The Wind in the Willows and Absolutely Anything. He also worked on visual effects and editing for Terry Gilliam’s Brazil and Time Bandits, and went on to direct feature films, theatre and music videos — among them Cloudbusting for Kate Bush and Can I Play with Madness for Iron Maiden.
Beyond screen work he has written books, stage plays and adaptations, including Twilight of the Gods, which explores the relationship between Wagner and Nietzsche and was later adapted to film. His catalogue now includes feature-length scripts, an estate-approved literary adaptation, and works available for revival, licensing and screen development.
